Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive AI governance frameworks aligned with 2026 regulatory requirements
- Conduct algorithmic audits for fairness, transparency, and accountability in autonomous systems
- Design bias mitigation protocols for AI deployed in healthcare, finance, and public services
- Create stakeholder engagement strategies for ethical AI implementation
- Lead incident response protocols for AI-related ethical breaches
- Produce regulatory compliance reports for federal and state agencies
- Mentor junior data scientists on ethical AI development practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Law, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI governance, algorithmic auditing, or ethics compliance
- Expertise in EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and emerging US federal AI regulations
- Proficiency in Python for algorithmic fairness assessment tools
- Experience with stakeholder engagement in public sector AI deployments
- Certification in AI Ethics (e.g., IEEE, ACM, or equivalent)
- Published work on algorithmic bias mitigation or AI governance
- Understanding of quantum computing implications for AI ethics
