Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical governance frameworks for autonomous systems and generative AI tools
- Conduct bias audits and risk assessments for AI algorithms using advanced analytical methods
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards into AI development lifecycles
- Create regulatory compliance strategies for evolving international AI standards and policies
- Lead stakeholder consultations across industry, academia, and government to establish ethical benchmarks
- Produce thought leadership on AI ethics through white papers and industry forums
- Monitor emerging AI risks and develop mitigation protocols for deployment scenarios
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years AI governance experience
- Proven expertise in bias detection algorithm development and fairness metrics implementation
- Deep knowledge of global AI regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks)
- Strong background in participatory design methodologies for ethical technology
- Published research in AI ethics or responsible technology journals
- Experience with MLOps tools and model monitoring systems
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex ethical concepts to technical teams
