Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical governance frameworks for generative AI and autonomous systems
- Lead cross-functional ethics audits for emerging technologies (quantum AI, neural interfaces, etc.)
- Develop predictive models for societal impact of 2026+ technological advancements
- Collaborate with policy teams to draft international AI ethics standards
- Create educational materials for engineers on responsible AI development practices
- Represent the company at global tech ethics forums and regulatory hearings
- Build an internal ethics advisory board with multidisciplinary experts
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Technology & Society, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in AI ethics, tech policy, or responsible innovation roles
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biometrics)
- Experience drafting industry ethics standards or regulatory frameworks
- Strong background in consequentialist and deontological ethical frameworks
- Proven ability to translate complex ethical concepts for technical teams
- Published research in peer-reviewed ethics or technology journals
- Experience with cross-cultural ethical analysis and global tech governance
