Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical governance frameworks for AI systems deployed by 2026
- Conduct bias audits and impact assessments for high-stakes AI applications
- Develop policies for transparent AI decision-making and explainable AI interfaces
- Lead stakeholder workshops on AI ethics with industry leaders and policymakers
- Monitor emerging regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, US frameworks) and adapt compliance strategies
- Create educational materials for internal teams on responsible AI development
- Partner with product teams to embed ethical safeguards into AI product lifecycles
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Philosophy, Computer Science, Ethics, or related field with 5+ years' experience
- Proven track record in developing AI ethics frameworks or compliance programs
- Deep expertise in bias mitigation techniques for ML models and NLP systems
- Familiarity with global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, OECD principles)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex ethical concepts to technical teams
- Published research in AI ethics or related journals preferred
- Experience with agile development methodologies and AI deployment pipelines
