- Create transparency documentation for explainable AI (XAI) implementations
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical principles into product lifecycles
- Establish monitoring systems for AI system performance and ethical compliance
- Advocate for ethical AI standards across industry coalitions and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in AI ethics, algorithmic governance, or responsible tech development
- Expertise in bias detection and fairness metrics for machine learning systems
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Strong background in philosophy of technology and ethical decision-making
- Experience with generative AI and autonomous system ethics
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex ethical concepts
- Published work in AI ethics or technology ethics journals
