Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize global tech trends to develop 5-year strategic vision for 2026+ ecosystem.
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-generation solutions in quantum, bioinformatics, and climate tech.
- Present quarterly trend reports to C-suite with actionable recommendations for R&D investment.
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders to accelerate innovation.
- Develop and maintain the company's 'Future Tech Radar' tracking 50+ emerging technologies.
- Drive adoption of sustainable tech practices across product lifecycle from design to decommissioning.
- Mentor junior innovators through monthly 'Future Tech Workshops' and hackathons.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism; PhD preferred.
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech forecasting.
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, climate tech, or neuro-interface systems.
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products with $10M+ market impact.
- Exceptional data visualization skills with portfolio of trend analysis presentations.
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature Futures journal within past 3 years.
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python preferred) and AI/ML frameworks.
- Experience leading remote, cross-cultural innovation teams across 3+ time zones.
