Responsibilities
- Analyze 2026 technology convergence points across AI, quantum, and biotech sectors
- Develop strategic roadmaps for next-generation product development
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping emergent tech applications
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Deliver futurist briefings to C-suite and investment committees
- Author thought leadership on tech disruption timelines
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused KPIs
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field with 7+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in predicting tech adoption timelines (cite 3+ major forecasts)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AGI, or synthetic biology
- Experience leading technical teams through technology transition cycles
- Published author in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier tech publications
- Proficiency in futures research methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Strong network with DARPA, NSF, or equivalent innovation ecosystems
