Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, patent filings, and academic research to identify 2026's disruptive technologies
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational strategy with future capabilities
- Produce annual '2026 Technology Horizon' reports for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-generation solutions in our Innovation Labs
- Establish KPIs for measuring readiness for 2026 technological shifts
- Represent the company at future-focused conferences and thought leadership events
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D
- Proven track record of publishing trend analysis or scenario planning frameworks
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI ethics, quantum applications, or neurotech
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with proficiency in visualization tools
- Experience facilitating executive workshops with Fortune 500 companies
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
- Active membership in Association of Professional Futurists or similar organization
