Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps aligning with 2026 industry forecasts and market trends
- Lead R&D initiatives in emerging technologies including AI ethics, quantum applications, and climate tech
- Analyze global tech disruption patterns to identify competitive advantages and investment opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Mentor cross-functional teams in agile methodologies and future-proofing techniques
- Secure partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for 2026-readiness
- Monitor regulatory shifts affecting tech deployment and adapt strategies accordingly
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in tech strategy, R&D, or innovation management at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of launching future-focused initiatives with measurable ROI
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Certified in Futures Thinking methodologies (e.g., CFTe, Foresight Practitioner)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with experience presenting to C-suite audiences
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ innovation strategies successfully implemented
