Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 strategic innovation roadmap through market trend analysis and technology foresight
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions in AI, quantum computing, and sustainable tech
- Secure strategic partnerships with industry leaders and academic institutions
- Drive R&D initiatives with $2M+ annual innovation budget
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board members
- Mentor emerging talent in innovation methodologies
- Monitor global tech disruptions and competitive landscapes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, product development, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record launching breakthrough technologies (3+ case studies required)
- Expertise in emerging tech: generative AI, quantum applications, or circular economy systems
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MBA, MS Engineering, or PhD preferred)
- Strong financial acumen for budgeting ROI analysis of innovation projects
- Exceptional communication skills for executive stakeholder management
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., PDMA, CMI)
- Experience scaling innovation from concept to market
