Responsibilities
- Analyze global technology trends and societal shifts to forecast industry disruptions through 2030
- Develop scenario-planning models for clients navigating post-2026 market landscapes
- Produce high-impact strategic briefings for C-suite executives on emerging technologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on long-term innovation priorities
- Quantify market opportunities in emerging sectors (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neurotech)
- Build and maintain proprietary trend databases using advanced analytics tools
- Present findings at industry conferences and publish thought leadership pieces
Qualifications
- Masters or PhD in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic consulting, R&D, or corporate innovation with 5-year horizon planning
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and horizon scanning frameworks
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend analysis platforms
- Published research or proven track record in predicting technological disruptions
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex insights into executive action
