Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026+ strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Produce high-impact future intelligence reports for executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational strategy with emerging opportunities
- Build and manage a network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Translate future insights into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and industry summits
- Mentor junior strategists and cultivate a culture of future-readiness
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Minimum 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism role
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario development, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal megatrends
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex future scenarios to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy publications
- Experience advising C-suite executives on long-term strategic pivots
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred)
