Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Produce quarterly executive briefings on emerging risks and innovation vectors
- Partner with R&D teams to translate future visions into actionable R&D priorities
- Establish KPIs to track progress toward 2026 innovation milestones
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and industry summits
- Mentor junior futurists and build a future-focused culture
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech convergence trends
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/SSC or CFIP)
- Published thought leadership on future technologies (peer-reviewed journals)
- Experience leading teams through digital transformation initiatives
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
