Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 strategic scenarios using horizon scanning and trend analysis methodologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive forces and innovation opportunities
- Produce forward-looking strategic roadmaps with clear milestones and KPIs
- Partner with R&D teams to integrate future-focused technologies into product roadmaps
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish early-warning systems for emerging risks and opportunities
- Author thought leadership content on future trends and strategic foresight
- Maintain a proprietary database of disruptive technologies and societal shifts
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in strategic planning, trend analysis, or futurist consulting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and strategic modeling
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional data synthesis and storytelling abilities for executive audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional strategy initiatives in Fortune 500 environments
- Published thought leadership on future trends or strategic foresight
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from foresight organizations) preferred
