Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts by 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum AI, synthetic biology, neural interfaces)
- Present future scenarios to executive stakeholders with actionable recommendations
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs to prototype 2026-ready solutions
- Author thought leadership on technological singularity implications
- Partner with R&D to de-risk long-term innovation pipelines
- Monitor geopolitical and socio-economic factors affecting future tech adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech research
- Proven track record of translating future trends into executable business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two exponential technology domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex scenarios to diverse audiences
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating future-oriented projects or published thought leadership
