Responsibilities
- Strategic Visioning: Develop and articulate a comprehensive 5-year technology roadmap focused on the 2026 era, identifying key emerging technologies (AI, Web3, Quantum) for integration.
- R&D Leadership: Lead a cross-functional team of futurists, engineers, and data scientists to prototype and validate next-generation solutions.
- Legacy Modernization: Overhaul existing monolithic systems to be cloud-native and scalable for high-volume global traffic.
- Stakeholder Management: Translate complex technical roadmaps into compelling business cases for investors, C-suite executives, and engineering leads.
- Competitive Analysis: Monitor global tech trends to ensure Apex remains ahead of the curve compared to competitors.
- Compliance & Ethics: Ensure all future tech implementations adhere to strict ethical AI guidelines and data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA).
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in senior technical leadership roles, with 5+ years specifically focused on strategic planning or R&D.
- Technical Fluency: Deep understanding of AI/ML architectures, distributed systems, and emerging quantum computing paradigms.
- Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to forecast technological trends and translate them into actionable business strategies.
- Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading diverse, high-performance engineering teams through complex digital transformations.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executives.
