Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for 2026-era applications
- Lead a 12-person research team in Austin and collaborate with global partners
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum computing frameworks using Qiskit and Cirq
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants and industry partnerships
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Week and Nature conferences
- Mentor PhD researchers and publish 3+ high-impact papers annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with superconducting quantum processors
- Published research in Nature/Science journals (2019-2023)
- Expertise in error correction codes and quantum annealing
- Proven track record of securing $1M+ in research funding
- Proficiency in quantum machine learning frameworks
- Leadership experience managing R&D teams of 10+
