Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures targeting 2026 commercial viability
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise solutions
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit connectivity and coherence
- Author technical whitepapers and patents for next-gen quantum algorithms
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in cutting-edge methodologies
- Interface with government and private sector partners on quantum security protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or architectures
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance techniques
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum hardware
