Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum machine learning architectures for 2026-era computational challenges
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams to prototype and validate quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Develop patent-pending algorithms for quantum error correction and neural network optimization
- Collaborate with product teams to translate research into commercial applications
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at global technology forums
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grant proposals
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Computational Physics
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with quantum circuit design (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum algorithms or AI optimization
- Expertise in tensor networks and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments (HPC/AWS Braket)
- Demonstrated ability to secure $1M+ in research funding
- Experience mentoring graduate-level researchers
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation strategies
