Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap with measurable milestones
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and futurists in prototyping next-gen solutions
- Secure $50M+ in strategic partnerships and government grants for emerging tech initiatives
- Present quarterly innovation briefings to C-suite and board members
- Mentor junior innovators through our Future Leaders program
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy or R&D leadership within tech or biotech
- Proven track record of launching products with $100M+ market impact
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- PhD or equivalent experience in strategic foresight, futures studies, or related field
- Strong network within DARPA, NSF, or similar innovation ecosystems
- Prior experience scaling teams from 5 to 50+ members
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting
