Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 innovation roadmaps with measurable impact milestones
- Lead agile sprints prototyping next-gen tech (quantum applications, neuro interfaces, climate solutions)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging disruptive technologies and market shifts
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Mentor a diverse team of 12+ researchers and engineers through rapid experimentation cycles
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board members with compelling data narratives
- Establish industry partnerships to accelerate tech adoption and ecosystem development
Qualifications
- 10+ years in R&D leadership with 5+ years in future-focused tech innovation
- Proven track record launching products with 3+ year market impact cycles
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, biotech, AR/VR)
- Strong background in agile methodologies and rapid prototyping frameworks
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or major tech conferences
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful tech innovations with global reach
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFAP, SFI) preferred
