Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 5-year technology roadmaps for 2026 commercialization
- Identify and evaluate emerging tech trends (quantum, neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Drive innovation sprints with patentable IP development cycles
- Partner with VCs and academic institutions to shape next-gen tech ecosystems
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior innovators through Horizon Labs' Future Fellowship program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in R&D leadership with 3+ years in emerging tech strategy
- Proven track record of launching at least one 5-year tech roadmap
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Biotechnology, or Physics
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, or synthetic biology
- Portfolio demonstrating commercialization of futuristic technologies
- Experience securing Series B+ funding for tech ventures
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
