Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology adoption roadmaps for emerging innovations (quantum computing, neural interfaces, decentralized AI)
- Lead cross-functional task forces to prototype and validate futuristic tech solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning for disruptive market shifts
- Advise executive leadership on ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D consortia
- Author thought leadership publications on technology's societal impact
- Manage innovation incubation programs for moonshot projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least three of these domains: quantum computing, biotech convergence, AR/VR ecosystems, or AI governance
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Published research in peer-reviewed technology innovation journals
- Experience with regulatory frameworks governing emerging tech (FDA, FCC, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Technology, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Exceptional storytelling skills to articulate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
