Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech/socioeconomic trends to forecast 2026 market disruptions
- Develop strategic frameworks for navigating post-quantum computing and AI ethics landscapes
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state roadmaps
- Produce quarterly 'Horizon Reports' with actionable insights for executive decision-making
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions for 2026-era challenges
- Represent company at global futurism forums and thought leadership summits
- Mentor junior futurists in trend synthesis and scenario planning methodologies
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurism research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate tech trajectories
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience advising C-suite on 5-10 year strategic planning
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or similar)
