Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and analyze emerging trends, technologies, and market forces shaping 2026+
- Develop comprehensive scenario-planning frameworks for 5-10 year business strategy
- Collaborate with R&D, product, and marketing teams to integrate future insights into innovation pipelines
- Present actionable recommendations to executive leadership through compelling data narratives
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Design and facilitate strategic workshops to explore future possibilities and organizational preparedness
- Monitor and evaluate competitive landscape in the context of technological and social evolution
- Author thought leadership content positioning Nexus as a future-ready industry leader
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Economics, Technology, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing) and societal implications
- Exceptional ability to translate complex future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Strong data visualization and presentation skills with executive communication experience
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-proofing initiatives or published thought leadership
