Responsibilities
- Architect and publish annual 2026 Horizon Scenarios across AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing domains
- Lead cross-functional Strategic Foresight Workshops with executive stakeholders to map opportunity landscapes
- Develop Early Warning Systems for disruptive technologies and paradigm shifts
- Design and maintain Trend Synthesis Frameworks integrating academic research, patent analytics, and cultural signals
- Partner with Product Innovation teams to embed future-readiness into development lifecycles
- Present strategic narratives to boards and investors as Chief Futurist Ambassador
- Curate Global Foresight Network of academic, industry, and policy thought leaders
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies with documented impact
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Systems Thinking, Complexity Science, or equivalent demonstrable expertise
- Portfolio showcasing published trend analyses with measurable business outcomes
- Expertise in Horizon Scanning methodologies and quantitative trend analysis tools
- Deep understanding of convergence technologies (AI/ML, synthetic biology, quantum computing)
- Proven ability to translate complex futures into actionable strategic imperatives
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from WFS or APF) preferred
