Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026-2030 strategic technology roadmap using predictive analytics and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum computing, AI ethics frameworks, and biotech convergence solutions
- Establish industry thought leadership through white papers, keynote speeches, and patented innovations
- Forge strategic partnerships with NASA, DARPA, and emerging tech startups
- Quantify market opportunities and risks for next-gen technologies (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Mentor junior futurists and build the company's 2026 talent pipeline
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience with 10+ years in strategic planning
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum, AI, or biotech)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and long-range forecasting models
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature Futures, IEEE Foresight)
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and predictive modeling platforms
- Security clearance eligibility preferred for government collaborations
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful 5-year+ strategic implementations
