Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize global technology trends, regulatory shifts, and demographic projections impacting 2026 markets
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for disruptive technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, climate adaptation)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product roadmaps and investment strategies
- Produce annual '2026 Horizon Scan' reports with predictive models and risk assessments
- Advocate ethical innovation frameworks in partnership with our Ethics Board
- Mentor junior futurists and build external partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and WEF
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Published research on 2020s technology disruption or similar foresight work
- Expertise in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi method)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum, energy)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for translating complex futures to stakeholders
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or futures platform)
