Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socioeconomic shifts to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product development and business model innovation
- Produce high-impact trend reports and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and innovation labs
- Mentor junior strategists while cultivating a future-oriented mindset across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic initiatives implemented from future-oriented insights
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or WFS) highly desirable
