Responsibilities

- Design and lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership, quantifying potential futures through predictive modeling
- Produce bi-annual Horizon Scan reports identifying high-impact emerging technologies and market disruptors
- Partner with R&D teams to translate foresight into innovation pipelines and R&D priorities
- Develop strategic roadmaps for organizational adaptation to 2026+ workforce, market, and regulatory landscapes
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and thought leadership events
- Mentor cross-functional teams in strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Systems Thinking, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research with Fortune 500 clients
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and predictive modeling frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex foresight into compelling executive narratives
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic impact on organizational transformation
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi Method) and data visualization platforms
- Global mindset with experience navigating cross-cultural futures landscapes
