Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year strategic roadmaps for 2026+ market evolution and technological disruption
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Conduct horizon-scanning research across biotech, AI, quantum computing, and sustainable tech
- Develop scenario models for geopolitical, economic, and environmental shifts through 2030
- Partner with R&D to incubate breakthrough technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and executive narratives
- Build and mentor a team of futurists and innovation analysts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, corporate innovation, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5+ year strategic plans
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to translate complex futures into stakeholder narratives
- Experience with futures forecasting tools (e.g., Delphi method, cross-impact matrix)
- Portfolio of published foresight work or strategic frameworks for 2025+
