Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic and technological trends to forecast 2026 industry shifts
- Develop scenario-planning models for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable product roadmaps
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership on future tech adoption patterns
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions aligned with long-term vision
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning or innovation consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial products
- Exceptional data storytelling and scenario modeling skills
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-state forecasts or trend analyses
- Strong stakeholder management and executive presentation abilities
