Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for 2026+ market disruptions
- Produce executive-grade foresight reports with quantitative and qualitative future-state projections
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government agencies, and industry disruptors
- Design and implement organizational change management for future-ready workforce transformation
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal foresight capabilities across departments
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 7+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation management, or trend analysis
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, climate tech)
- Strong command of foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, causal layered analysis)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex transformation initiatives
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight (articles, whitepapers)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-state strategy implementation
