Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ innovation roadmaps by analyzing emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate future products/services and prioritize strategic initiatives
- Produce high-impact trend reports and scenario-planning frameworks for executive decision-making
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate futuristic solutions through rapid experimentation
- Establish thought leadership through industry publications, keynotes, and patent filings
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Align innovation strategies with ESG principles and sustainable development goals
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurism with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year innovation roadmaps
- Expertise in trend forecasting, scenario planning, and disruptive technology assessment
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Strategic Management, Technology, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning, cross-impact matrices)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating published research or executed future-focused initiatives
- Experience with agile innovation frameworks and rapid prototyping tools
