Responsibilities
- Develop predictive models for technological convergence across AI, biotech, and quantum domains by 2026
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Produce annual 'Horizon Scan' reports mapping innovation trajectories for Fortune 500 clients
- Design human-centered frameworks for next-gen interface paradigms (BCI, AR/VR, haptics)
- Coordinate with policy think tanks to shape regulatory frameworks for autonomous systems
- Establish KPIs for measuring societal impact of technological adoption
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent technical field
- 5+ years experience in technology strategy with 2+ years focused on post-2025 forecasting
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or predictive models
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into strategic business frameworks
- Experience with scenario planning tools and foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Certification in Futures Thinking or equivalent (e.g., WFS, APF)
