Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive horizon-scanning framework for emerging technologies with 2026+ impact
- Produce actionable trend reports and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into innovation roadmaps
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Author thought leadership content published in industry-leading journals
- Advise on R&D prioritization and resource allocation for future-facing initiatives
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory developments affecting long-term strategy
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of successfully predicting and capitalizing on technological disruptions
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics, or climate tech
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex future scenarios
- Published thought leadership in technology or strategy publications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Experience presenting to C-suite boards and investment committees
