Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze global technological, economic, and societal trends impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term corporate vision
- Lead scenario planning workshops for emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, bio-convergence)
- Partner with R&D teams to prioritize breakthrough initiatives
- Present futuristic insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build competitive advantage through patent strategy and ecosystem partnerships
- Mentor junior futurists and establish thought leadership in the field
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech, clean energy)
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into market opportunities
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology journals
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Strong communication skills for executive-level presentations
