Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies, geopolitical shifts, and societal trends impacting 2026
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks for long-term organizational planning
- Produce scenario-based roadmaps for product development and market positioning
- Present future intelligence to executive leadership and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops to align teams on future opportunities
- Monitor global signals and disruptors through quantitative analysis and qualitative research
- Build and cultivate a network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Strategic Foresight, Business, Technology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence C-level stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementations
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
- Experience with data visualization tools for presenting future scenarios
