Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Identify and evaluate disruptive startups for acquisition/partnership opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping futuristic solutions
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Author industry-shaping whitepapers on 2026 technology trends
- Establish partnerships with leading research institutions (MIT, Caltech, etc.)
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory landscapes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurism
- Proven track record in scaling emerging tech ventures
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum systems, synthetic biology, AGI
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning abilities
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or major platforms
- Advanced degree in relevant field (PhD preferred)
