Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI) and societal shifts to identify transformative opportunities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks for Fortune 500 clients
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to prepare organizations for disruptive futures
- Author high-impact white papers and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Mentor cross-functional teams in futures thinking methodologies
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurist practitioners and academic partners
- Translate foresight insights into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Proven track record of predicting and commercializing emerging trends
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains
- Exceptional systems thinking and synthesis capabilities
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futures journals
- Experience with horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and trend impact analysis
- Portfolio demonstrating future-shaping projects
