As a key member of our Global Innovation Council, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives to develop long-term roadmaps while maintaining a pulse on emerging technologies like AI ethics, quantum computing applications, and sustainable tech ecosystems. You'll pioneer methodologies for scenario planning and horizon scanning, ensuring FutureWorks remains at the forefront of industry disruption.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging trends and disruptive technologies through 2026 and beyond
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and market evolution
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to foster future-thinking across engineering, product, and marketing teams
- Author thought leadership content on future scenarios and their business implications for executive audiences
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate next-generation solutions for emerging markets
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track progress against future-state benchmarks
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and industry conferences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- Minimum 8 years in innovation strategy, product development, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, sustainable systems)
- Exceptional facilitation skills with experience leading executive workshops
- Published thought leadership in future studies or innovation journals
- Strong analytical abilities with experience in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation initiatives with measurable ROI
