Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AGI, biotech) to develop 5-10 year innovation roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for next-gen solutions in climate tech and human augmentation
- Partner with C-suite to integrate future-scenarios into corporate strategy and product development
- Develop patent-able IP for sustainable energy and AI governance frameworks
- Present visionary forecasts to stakeholders and industry conferences
- Mentor junior futurists and build external innovation ecosystems
Qualifications
- Master's in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic innovation, R&D, or futurist consulting
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend analyses or patented innovations
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Certification in Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., CFM)
