Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their market implications through 2030
- Develop strategic innovation frameworks that integrate exponential technologies into core business operations
- Produce trend reports and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Champion cross-functional R&D initiatives with engineering, product, and design teams
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Present future-shaping insights at industry conferences and internal leadership forums
- Mentor junior futurists and establish best practices for strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Deep expertise in at least two exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, neurotech)
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into commercial roadmaps
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in technology or futurism (articles, white papers)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi analysis, horizon scanning)
- Strong network with futurist communities and tech research institutions
