Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify breakthrough technologies, market disruptions, and societal shifts through 2026
- Develop and publish annual '2026 Vision Reports' with strategic recommendations for R&D, product development, and market expansion
- Design and facilitate cross-functional innovation workshops to embed future-thinking across all departments
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry experts for continuous intelligence gathering
- Quantify future scenarios through predictive modeling and risk assessment frameworks
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members with compelling data visualization
- Champion a culture of experimentation and rapid prototyping for future-facing initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating future insights into successful commercial strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and horizon scanning techniques
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3, etc.) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (white papers, books, keynotes)
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and predictive analytics platforms
