Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 innovation roadmaps across quantum computing, AI ethics, and climate tech
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions for Fortune 500 partners
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies and societal trends
- Design strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government labs
- Present foresight frameworks to C-suite executives and board committees
- Mentor innovation specialists in future-proof methodologies
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D portfolio for breakthrough projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or emerging technology leadership
- Proven track record of launching products/services with 5+ year market impact
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- PhD or Master's in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
- Published work on technological singularity or societal transformation
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants ($1M+ scale)
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis)
