Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps aligning with market disruption forecasts and emerging research
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints integrating quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Conduct horizon scanning for breakthrough technologies and patent-pending opportunities
- Present strategic futures to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-backed scenario planning
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Mentor junior futurists through our FutureTech Accelerator program
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on 2026 tech whitepapers
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- 8+ years in tech innovation with 3+ years in strategic foresight roles
- Published research in IEEE/ACM journals on emerging tech trends
- Proven track record scaling solutions from prototype to enterprise adoption
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, AI governance, or climate tech
- Fluency in futures methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning, SWOT 3.0)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight from University of Houston or similar
