What you'll achieve: Lead cross-functional initiatives to identify and validate emerging technologies, develop predictive models for market adoption, and translate complex foresight into actionable strategies for Fortune 500 clients. Responsibilities
- Design and execute horizon scanning protocols to identify breakthrough technologies with 2026+ commercial viability
- Develop quantitative foresight models using machine learning to predict adoption curves and market disruption timelines
- Produce strategic foresight reports and scenario plans for C-suite executives in tech, healthcare, and energy sectors
- Lead cross-functional workshops with engineers, designers, and product strategists to align innovation roadmaps
- Establish and maintain expert networks across academic, governmental, and industry foresight communities
- Mentor a team of 4-6 researchers while maintaining thought leadership through keynotes and white papers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Data Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in foresight research, innovation strategy, or emerging technology analysis
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and statistical modeling
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex foresight into executive narratives
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic impact from future-oriented recommendations
