Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI alignment).
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype 2026-relevant solutions.
- Analyze geopolitical and market trends to identify disruptive opportunities.
- Design ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and automation systems.
- Collaborate with Fortune 500 partners to pilot future-ready technologies.
- Present quarterly futures briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders.
- Manage a $5M innovation budget for R&D initiatives.
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futuristics (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation consulting.
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neural networks, climate tech.
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers.
- Experience with scenario planning and trend forecasting methodologies.
- Track record of scaling prototype technologies to enterprise deployment.
- Certified in Futures Studies (AFS) or similar credential preferred.
