Responsibilities

- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Drive strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Present technology visions and progress to C-suite stakeholders and investors
- Manage $5M+ R&D budgets for future technology incubation projects
- Develop ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and autonomous systems
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting technology adoption timelines
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech R&D or strategic innovation leadership
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, or circular tech systems
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 3+ year market impact
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or major tech conferences
- Experience securing government grants and corporate partnerships for emerging tech
- Deep understanding of technology commercialization timelines and barriers
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
