Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, identifying high-impact opportunities in quantum computing, AI, and climate tech
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, researchers, and product managers to deliver breakthrough prototypes
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government agencies, and Fortune 100 companies
- Develop future-proof governance frameworks for ethical AI deployment and quantum security protocols
- Present strategic vision to C-suite executives and board members, securing $10M+ annual innovation budgets
- Monitor global tech trends and geopolitical shifts to anticipate disruptive forces affecting 2026 technology adoption
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting with proven impact on 5+ year roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, advanced AI, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Track record of launching innovative products/services with $50M+ market impact
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering from Tier 1 institution
- Deep understanding of global tech policy, ethics frameworks, and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature, or equivalent tier journals
